CHA, Here I come!! Woot, woot!!

Well, as of today I am registered, have hotel reservations, plane tickets and my conference schedule. I am  really getting excited about going to CHA in Anaheim, CA in Jan. I didn't get drawn for any of the Ranger or Sizzix workshops but I did get a Hero Arts workshop, so I am very happy about that.  The other workshop I am excited about is one with Laura Denison creating an organizer/calendar using Graphic 45 papers. Actually I am excited about all of the workshops and seminars I will be taking at CHA. I think I have signed up for a total of 16 workshops and seminars.

These are the images we will be coloring in Dec.  I will also post the list of Copics needed to color the images. The images are both Mo Manning, one is "I even love the box".
He is colored with Copics. Skin-E00, E11, R20; PJs-B26, B23, Y08, Y04; box-E31, E34, E35; hat- R29, R27, R24, C00, C1; bow G08, G05, G29; wrapping paper-C00, C1, R27; tag-C00, C1, YG63 and a Garnet Spica pen for Baby. And 0.
The other is "Talva Winter Fairy".
Copics for Talva are:

These will be the only Copic classes for Dec. since we will be going to Austin for the birth of our new granddaughter. Her due date is the 25th but her Mother says she will be here on the 17th, so I have not scheduled classes for those two weeks.

I hope everyone has a great day!
See ya soon.

Happy Veteran's Day!

I just want to send a "Thank You" out to all of the present, past and future veterans and the families who support them. Thank you for allowing me the freedoms many have died for that are ensured by the military of the United States of America.
I hope everyone has a great week and thank a veteran.
Hugs,

Distress storage

I posted these on my personal blog but decided to post here also.  I have been making some storage towers for my Distress Ink pads, DI refills and Distress Stains. I lifted the idea for the DI pads from a lady in Australia. This is the link to her blog http://ozegran.blogspot.com/2012/09/distress-ink-storage-unit-finished.html . I did this because I was having to pick up several ink pads (or maybe all 48) before I found the one I wanted and this has completely eliminated that.

After I finished this for my DI ink pads, I realized I have been doing the same thing with all 48 DI refill bottles. Plus they were in a big storage box and fell over everytime I touched the box. So I decided to create a storage tower for the refills. I used the same basic idea as the one for the pads but because the bottles needed to be tipped back to stay in the tower it was more complicated but not difficult to complete. And here is the finished tower.
Now I have all of the Distress Stains also, so I decided just by making the boxes a little larger I could make a tower to hold them also. And here it is.
All of these have been covered with TH "Lost and Found" paper. I really am pleased with the way they have turned out.
This is a picture of all three together.

I would be willing to teach a class on creating these if anyone is interested. Please come by the store or give me a call 575-706-3447.

Have a great rest of the weekend.
